Prerequisites: NUTR 560A, NUTR 560B, NUTR 560C, NUTR 560E, NUTR 560G, NUTR 560M - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
This course covers nutrigenomics, epigenetics, and advanced biochemical assessment to provide a more complete understanding of an individual’s unique biochemistry. In this course, students will apply their knowledge of biochemical pathways to evaluate and assess imbalances in energy metabolism, mitochondrial function, hormonal status, stress response, and mood modulation.
