Corequisite: BIOL 106L This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to and overview of the key areas of microbiology for the healthcare professional. The course will cover the structure, growth, metabolism and genetics of microorganisms associated with human diseases. The course then covers host-microbe interactions and microbial diseases, and methods of control of infectious agents. Offered: Fall and Spring
