ENGL 451 - Adaptations: Print to Film

This course will examine the souce texts and film adaptations of works drawn from a variety of print genres, including short stories, fairy tales, novels, nonfiction journalism, and Shakespearean plays, to consider what aesthetic, ideological, and cultural issues are at stake in the act of adpatation.
