AHM 713 - Patent Remedies

Prerequisites: AHM 612; Introduction to Chinese Herbal Remedies.
This course will survey over 150 prominent, TCM, topical and internal herbal, patent formulas. Students will be introduced to pattern-specific uses of these formulas and subsequently, their contraindications, toxicities and potential drug interactions. Safety, legal, and manufacturing issues will also be highlighted.
