BAI 302 - Data Preparation and Visualization

Prerequisites: CAIS 101   and CAIS 191  Must be completed prior to taking this course.
This course is designed to hone skills in the crucial task of preparing data for analysis and visualization, emphasizing their paramount role in fostering effective data analysis. By the end of this course, students will have acquired a profound understanding of exploratory data analysis techniques, equipping them to adeptly navigate diverse data sets using the SQL programming language. The curriculum encompasses hands-on experiences in data preparation and cleansing, offering insights into identifying and eliminating duplicate records, as well as detecting and handling erroneous and missing data values. Through a fusion of SAS statistical programming and SQL queries, students will gain proficiency in the nuanced art of pinpointing and removing outliers. Furthermore, participants will apply their acquired knowledge to the realm of visualization, actively engaging in the conception, implementation, and launch of an eCommerce Dashboard.
