NURS 301 - Nursing Theory & Evidence-Based Practice 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisites: MATH 203 This course is designed to introduce the RN student to the conceptual, philosophical, scientific, and ethical bases for professional nursing practice. The relationship among theory, research and evidence-based practice is explored and applied to real life practice situations. The role of the nurse in support of this theory, research, and evidence-based practice is addressed through a theoretical paper, research critiques, and discussion of evidence-based care in selected scenarios.
