Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) program

Program outcomes

  1. Apply knowledge from nursing and ways of knowing as well as knowledge from the natural and social sciences, to form the basis for clinical judgment and innovation in nursing practice. [Domain 1)

Admission criteria

  • Cumulative GPA 2.75
  • TEAS 7 Test
  • Math/science pre-requisite coursework of C+ or higher: MATH 103, BIO 113/L, BIO 114/L, BIO 106/L, CHEM 113/L OR CHEM105/L.
  • General education pre-requisite coursework: ENG 101, SOC 101, PSYC 103, PSYC 205

General education requirements - 31 credits


To be considered for the UBSN ADN program, you must complete the following:

RN program requirements - 40 credits


Once the nursing program has been started, the program must be completed within 3 years.

Semester 1 - 8 credits


Semester 2 - 8 credits


Semester 3 - 8 credits


Semester 5 - 8 credits
