Master of Science in Music Education Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- apply musical knowledge and skills to coursework
- analyze issues in the field of music education from diverse perspectives
- analyze school policies and practices through social, cultural, political, and historical lenses
- evaluate teaching practices in music education from diverse perspectives
- develop educational curricula that promote student learning in music education settings in relation to state/national standards
- develop materials that address diverse and varied needs of PK-12 students
- design assessments that provide valuable information about student learning and progress in music education settings
