Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) program

Program outcomes

  1. Demonstrate sound clinical judgement skills founded on a broad base of knowledge from nursing and other disciplines. (AACN Domain 1)

Admission criteria

  • Cumulative GPA 2.75
  • TEAS 7 Test
  • Math/science pre-requisite coursework of C+ or higher: MATH 103, BIOL 106/L, BIOL 113/L, BIOL 114/L, CHEM 105 OR CHEM 113/L.
  • General education pre-requisite coursework: ENGL 101, SOC 101, PSYC 103, PSYC 205

 

RN to BSN Dual Admission

ADN students have the option to “dual enroll” in the RN to BSN program. This pathway allows students to take general education courses towards the RN to BSN program while enrolled in the ADN program. Dual enrollment can begin in the 3rd semester of the ADN program.

To be considered for the UBSN ADN program, you must complete the following:

RN program requirements - 40 credits


Once the nursing program has been started, the program must be completed within 3 years.
