MATH 106C - Complement to Math 106

Corequisite(s): MATH 106 - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.

Math 106C is a one-credit half-semester affiliate course run concurrently with Math 106. Taken together, Math 106 and Math 106C form a prerequisite for Chemistry 124 (formerly Chem 104), removing the scheduling complications that occur with Math 109 being a strict prerequisite. The course is composed of 16 50-minute sessions, primarily instructional lectures and practice periods with occasional assessments. As the course runs quickly and for a relatively short time, it forgoes the usual unit structure; assessments will consist of two work-in-process exams and one cumulative final exam.
