MATH 103C - Complement to Math 103

Math 103C is a one-credit half-semester affiliate course run concurrently with Math 103. Taken together, Math 103 and Math 103C form a prerequisite for Chemistry 123 (formerly Chem 103), removing the scheduling complications that occur with Math 106 being a strict prerequisite. The course is composed of 16 50-minute sessions, primarily instructional lectures and practice periods with occasional assessments. As the course runs quickly and for a relatively short time, it forgoes the usual unit structure; assessments will consist of two work-in-process exams and one cumulative final exam.
