AN 511 - Cell and Tissue Microscopic Anatomy & Physiology

This course will focus on the study of the microscopic anatomy and physiology of cells and basic tissue types. A major emphasis will be placed on connective, neural, and muscular tissues. A working knowledge of the microscopic structure and function of the basic tissue types will provide a framework for understanding how the organization of the tissues contribute to organ and organ system physiology.
