ATD 742 - TCM Geriatrics

Prerequisite(s): ATD 524 Must be completed prior to taking this course.
This course is designed to familiarize the student with TCM diagnosis and acupuncture treatments that apply to elderly patients. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the physiological changes that affect the health of the elderly from both a TCM and biomedical perspective. Acupuncture and herbal treatments, their indications and contraindications will be discussed.
