DX 725 - Special Populations 3 credit(s)
Prerequisite(s): All courses in semesters I-V. This course introduces the student to the health care needs of the developing child and mother from conception to birth to childhood and adolescence. Complications of pregnancy, delivery, post-partum care, and the chiropractic management of the obstetrical patient are discussed. The examination, conditions and management of the pediatric patient are presented.
