BIOL 211 - General Physiology

Physiology (from the Greek physis = nature; logos = study) is the study of biological function-of how the body works, from the molecular, cellular, tissues, organs, and organ systems, and how the organism as a whole accomplishes particular functions essential for life. In this course emphasis will be given on mechanisms in a cause-and-effect relationship.
