HONR 220E - Literature of Travel and Adventure

Fiction and non-ficition works of travel and adventure literature from the ancient Greeks to today.  The course explores the various styles, themes, and purposes of travel and adventure writing; how locations, encounters, and beliefs influence individual works; and how travel literature affects and shapes its audience.
