NURS 613 - Advanced Practicum in Educ / Leadership

The Advanced Practicum in Education/Leadership combines program course work into a capstone course. Students participate in field work experience with a preceptor to practice the advanced role of nursing educator and leader. The hands-on experience in the organization of choice empowers students to apply, integrate learned knowledge and skills through problem solving, resource management, interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication combining learned skills in the education and leadership domain. Didactic sessions focus on incorporating Best Practices in education and leadership. The course culminates with the presentation of a professional portfolio. One hundred twenty-eight Practicum hours.
