NURS 570 - Advanced Pathophysiology

This course builds upon pathophysiology knowledge developed by the professional nurse in the student’s basic education program. Principles of pathophysiology and the advanced nursing’s practice role are examined, including biopsychosocial science and genomics. Understanding the various risk factors and mitigating strategies, as well as current and future research, is also a focus. Selected pathophysiology and subsequent symptomatology in diverse clients across the lifespan are also explored.
