AHM 612 - Introduction to Chinese Herbal Remedies

Prerequisites: ATD 524.Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
This survey course introduces the student to the diagnostic and treatment strategies specific to TCM herbal therapies. The student is introduced to major herbs and formulas of China, their uses, contraindications and drug-herb interaction. Patient safety issues are also addressed. Offered: Fall Semester
