BIOL 214 - General Anatomy and Physiology II 4 Credit(s)
Prerequisites: Two courses from BIOL 101 ,BIOL 102 , BIOL 213 This is part two of a two semester course intended for biology majors. This course is an in depth survey of human anatomy and physiology that examines the relationships between structure and function. The lecture topics will include basic chemistry, cell biology, histology, organs and organ systems. The two-hour laboratory includes experimental activities, microscopy and gross anatomy. Dissections will be used to study select organ systems. Although it is not required, it is recommended that students take this course in sequence (BIOL 213 then BIOL 214). Offered: Spring only
