Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and BIOL 102 This course is designed to explore current environmental and public health concerns and issues. Students will gain an understanding of the interaction of individual and communities with the environment, the potential impact on health of environmental agents. The sequence of major topics begins with environmental epidemiology and toxicology, policy and regulation. The course then covers specific agents of environmental diseases.
