FIN 400 - Financial Management

Prerequisites: FIN 400 and completion of all required Finance concentration courses or concurrent registration in final required concentration courses.
This course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basic tools and concepts of financial management. It will discuss important issues in modern finance, including the time value of money, valuation of stock and bonds, capital budgeting, risk and return tradeoff, portfolio analysis, capital asset pricing model and financing decisions. Basic accounting and statistics are essential to understanding the principles developed in this course.
