Prerequisites: ENGL 101 Comprehensive study of life and manners of a particular historical period, with emphasis on original sources such as diaries, memoirs, official records, literature, art and music. Periods could include the ante-bellum South, the Gilded Age, Victorian Society in England or the United States, France in the time of Louis XIV, and so on. May be repeated for credit if topics vary. Prerequisite Offered: Every two years
