HSCI 320 - Food Sanitation

The course introduces concepts related to the production, storage, preparation of food for human consumption. Attention is given to disease processes and their relationship to food preparation and consumption. Topics covered also include the commercial, social, and legal environments of food production and recall of contaminated food. Offered: Spring only
