NCS 621 - Pathology and Diagnostic Imaging

This course continues the training of the fundamental basis of disease by studying pathophysiology on both organ system and multiorgan system scales. Organ systems studied include the cardiovascular, respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal, endocrine, musculoskeletal, and central nervous systems. Each pathophysiologic process studied is placed in a clinical context by reviewing associated physical, radiographic, gross, and microscopic findings. After completing this course curriculum, the student’s comprehension of clinical textbooks should be self-perpetuating.
