This course focuses on the role of provider of holistic nursing care to adult patients experiencing changes in safety, elimination, digestion, sensory, mobility and immune status. Opportunities are provided for students to use critical thinking skills in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating nursing care in perioperative and other medical/surgical environments.
