STAT 400 - Statistics and Quantitative Analysis 3 Credit(s)
Prerequisites: Admission to graduate study. This course is an introduction to basic statistical methodology and its applications to business decisions. Topics include probabilities, discrete and continuous probability distributions, probability sampling techniques, sampling distributions, interval estimation and hypothesis testing. The basics of specific statistical tests will be presented including chi square, correlation, multiple regression and analysis of variance. Students will use software packages to perform statistical analysis.
