AWB 523 - Pharmacology

This course examines the most commonly used pharmacologic agents to be encountered in the clinical setting. The general principles of pharmacology (pharmcodynamics and pharmacokinetics) are covered. Uses and side effects of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents, hormones and cardiac drugs are surveyed. Drug-nutrient and drug-herb interactions are discussed.
