ACCT 330 - Internship 3 credit(s)
This course will provide exposure to a workplace environment in the field of accounting. Under the supervision of a Certified Public Accountant, students will gain real-world exposure to any number of accounting facets including compliance, research, writing & interaction with other professionals in the business world. The students will work a minimum of 80 hours under the direct and/or indirect supervision of a Certified Public Accountant(s) (“CPA”). In addition, throughout this engagement students will provide written updates regarding their work activity to their professor. In addition, upon completion of the internship, the employer will evaluate the student(s) performance & provide a rating in 4 to 6 areas of aptitude & attitude Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
