BIOL 303A - Histology I

This is the first part of Histology I, lecture and lab and it is a four (4) credit course designed for the student interested in broadening her/his knowledge in the field of histology. Furthermore, this course will prepare those students interested to be certified in the field of histological examination. The course will cover in detail the microscopic structure of animal cells and tissues. A major emphasis will be given on the four major types of tissues. Laboratory work will train students to microscopically recognize, examine and interpret stained cells and tissue sections.
