Prerequisites: BIOL 102 This course covers the basic biochemistry of proteins and nucleic acids and the techniques used to isolate, quantify, and characterize them. The class focuses heavily on the genomics of disease processes and the techniques used to diagnose and manage them. The course includes both laboratory exercises and review of case studies.
